Cbse 2020 exams have started from Feb.

We spoke to a board examiners and a few students about the Class 12 Physics paper analysis and most of them said that the Physics paper was quite tough with unexpected and twisted questions.

Although CBSE has the trend of keeping the papers of all the streams in line with syllabus. But, this time the paper was bit too tricky as the MCQ portion was focused mostly on the application portion of the physics chapters like wave optics, nuclei, atoms, electrostatics and electrodynamics.

Moreover, the 3 marker questions regarding capacitance graph, circuits and other questions from atoms, nuclei and radiation were above level.

Many students were left desserted by the question as several students and teachers are complaining that the question was very difficult.

Questions are different between the different Sets

“Set 1 and Set 3 of the CBSE Class 12 Physics paper are totally different! I am not aware of Set 2, but in Set 1 and Set 3, the questions itself are different – not just the numbering order,” says board examiner Akulina Kar.(source- INDIA TODAY)

“A few unexpected questions were there like the one on Impact Paremeter and the paper was lengthy too,” she added.

CBSE Class 12 Physics paper 2020 was mix of numericals and application based theory

One of the main hurdles of student was that they had to face tougher numericals rather than the previous year questions! Most of the previous year questions were asked on a theoritical line with moderate numericals !

“Normally, CBSE questions are not numerical-based, but this paper was very numerical heavy,” said Akulina Kar.

CBSE Class 12 Physics paper analysis: Expected marks

Most students spoke about their CBSE Class 12 Physics paper were disappointed with the difficult standard of the question paper. While most said they couldn’t say how much they would score, some said they were expecting 55-65 in the 70-mark paper.
